Peculiar Behaviors

The Greek philosopher Pythagoras was a strange one. He is known for the Pythagorean theorem but was probably not the one who actually came up with it. More interesting is that he purportedly once convinced a bull to never eat fava beans. He had frequent conversations with bears. He killed a man by drowning him because of a disagreement about decimal points.

Most notably, is his great fear of beans. He insisted that his many accolades never eat beans.

On his last day alive, some of his followers were unhappy with him, chased him toward a bean field and because he would not run through the bean field, they caught up with him and killed him.

Ah, the power of beans.
