Buffalos Lost
The females in a herd of African buffalos are the ones who direct the herd. They indicate to the rest of the herd which way to go. They are the herds GPS.
Earlier, the males in the herd oversaw directions. But they repeatedly sent the herd away from food and water, getting lost, and being disinclined to ask for directions to get back on track.
Understandably, the females stepped in and are now and into the foreseeable future in charge of directions. No more wandering around aimlessly as the males in the herd did without the humility to admit they were lost and clueless.
The males in the herd grumbled about their loss of leadership, and blamed their directional incompetence on changing wind conditions, allergies, and indigestion.
